Last night, I was lucky enough to get together with some of my best girls to see and hear Stephanie speak about bookbookbook3.
Okay - you can already guess how cool that was, right?
Okay - I'll be honest - it was wayyyy cooler than that.
The bottom line is that, at dinner, after Stephanie had shown Wendy how to do something not at all very complicated, I asked about something called an LRD, which, when Ms. Teen Pants called me with a knitting emergency and explained LRD to me, sounded incredibly like a k2tog. So, I asked the assembled knitters what an LRD might be (because it seemed that it couldn't really be as simple as a k2tog - I mean - why not just *call* it that, then???), but dear Patience (okay - seriously - how cute is SHE?) kindly emailed me today and guess what? An LRD is a k2tog.
And knowing this is a good thing, because Ms. Teen Pants and Master Teen Pants are currently in my house, and boy howdy - I was glad to be able to tell Ms. Teen Pants that the k2tog that she's been doing in the vintage baby blanket pattern that she's knitting was right all along. Phew!
So, with Miss and Master Teen Pants with us this weekend, can you guess where I won't be and what I won't be doing this weekend? Well, I obviously wasn't at Grafton tonight (g*d love my girls for calling and waving at me this afternoon while I was still imprisoned in my office - love you girls lots!), and I won't be at WEBS (sob) tomorrow, but I will be having fun dentist hijinx, so y'know, there's that.
Yep. There's that.
Yay for friends and yay for knitting teens! How cool is that?!

Good luck with the dentist. Make sure you take something before you go... it might make the pain less later on!
