What's a miracle, you ask?
Everything.
It's a miracle that I survived the last few weeks at work. I've been mentally composing posts in my mind, but mostly, they were comprised of incoherent screaming. Long, piercing screams. So I thought, okay, maybe posting right now isn't a good thing. But I've survived, I only worked eleventysixmillion hours and now, well, work seems far behind me.
It's a miracle that I was able to spend last weekend at Rhinebeck, with so many of my favorite people. It was exactly the kind of soul soothing weekend I needed (regardless of the crowds, or the ridiculous line at The Fold).
It's a miracle that in 5 1/2 hours I will be on a plane heading to California (okay, tonight we'll be in Reno) with Mike, Mike's mom, her boyfriend, and Kellee and Rick.
It's a miracle that tomorrow, Kim and her husband Matt, and Caroline and her husband John, will drive up to South Lake Tahoe to join us at the condo we have rented for the week.
It's a miracle that on Friday night, the night before I get married, I will be hanging out in Tahoe with many of the people I am closest to in the world. I can not tell you the joy I feel knowing that we will be married surrounded by these people.
It's a miracle that in a little more than three days I will marry my best friend, my partner, my true love. Hallelujiah. Amen.
It's really here, it's really happening. Thank you for all your support of my CWB (which could mean both Crazy Wedding Brain AND Crazy Work Brain). I've gotten such great advice, support, commiseration, and "Dude! Snap Out of It!"s, from you, and believe me, it has HELPED.
Oh, and for Kellee, who 1) told me she has had kind of a hard time restraining herself from demanding I show The Wedding Shawl Immediately and 2) emailed me last night to compel me to Block The Shawl, I give you these:

Congratulations & best of luck on your new life together.
I found your blog through checking out Rhinebeck posts, & a have to say that I'm seriously impressed with your ability to go out of town to RHINEBECK of all places & then pull off a wedding within a week of Rhinebeck re-entry. May you & Mr. Concateknit have a long & happy life together!

Congratulations! I'm waving to you from down here near San Jose. I hope the weather is fantastic. The bride is ecstatic, groom joyous, and what more do you need?
Oh right, I wish you many coming years of happiness with Mike, lots of chocolate, and more yarn than you can ever possibly knit.
P.S. That shawl is stunning! Well done!
